   = C O n N e C t = belongs to the youth of the Catholic Church in New Zealand. It was initiated by them, written by them and it’s about them. Have a look around. It’s really all about God in peoples lives, spreading the Word, celebrating who we are and getting to heaven. It’s about living life to the full and sharing our lives with other people.

Magis is Latin for ”more”
St Ignatius of Loyola used the word magis to talk about a quest for the greater good, always striving  for the greater glory of God – prompting us to search, strive, love, live and struggle more.  This site is specifically aimed at youth with a focus on WYD08 preparation and participation. Today we use the term magis to mean "seeking more of what God wants for us".

Hearts Aflame is a ten-day Catholic summer school that happens every January in New Zealand.

Hearts Aflame is open to young adults aged 18 to 35 and it has been happening every year in New Zealand since 1991.

Hearts Aflame is organised by a team of lay volunteers who are dedicated to serving the Catholic Church in New Zealand, and passionate about living and sharing the truth and fullness of the Catholic faith.
